Balancing it all

Hey everyone! Welcome back to the blog! Today, I wanted to take a moment to talk about something that’s been a real challenge for me throughout this process. Balancing school, helping others with their films, and making it to our own filming days. As much as I love being part of this project, it’s definitely been tough to be there for every single shoot. Between my own schoolwork and commitments, plus helping out with a few other student films, my schedule has been completely packed. Some days, I’ve had to miss filming sessions because of deadlines or because I was needed on another set. It’s been frustrating at times because I genuinely want to be there for every part of our film, but there are only so many hours in a day. Even when I can’t physically be at every shoot, I’ve been doing my best to contribute in other ways helping with promotional materials, brainstorming ideas, and staying involved in planning. It’s not always easy to feel like I’m juggling everything, but I remind myself that every little bit of effort still matters in making this film come together. Thankfully, I have such an amazing team that understands when I can’t always make it. Conner, Finn, and Valentina have been super supportive, keeping me updated and making sure I’m still involved, even on the days I can’t be there in person. It’s moments like these that remind me how much of a team effort filmmaking really is. I know I’m not the only one struggling to balance everything, and I just want to say to anyone else feeling stretched thin you’re not alone! It’s all about finding ways to stay involved, even when life gets hectic. At the end of the day, I’m so grateful to be part of this project, and I know that all the hard work (even the stressful parts) will be worth it when we see the final result. Thanks for sticking with me through this journey! I’ll be back soon with another update, and I can’t wait to share more as we get closer to wrapping up production. Stay tuned!
