Continuing Editing

Hey bloggers. Welcome back. I've got a new update. I've been trying to edit for the past few days, and it's been difficult. There were many scenes my group and I didn't feel comfortable using. Some shots weren't as clear or the sound could have been better. We did end up running into the issue with the wind which I brought up in the past blog. CapCut gave me the feature to enhance or isolate voices which canceled out background noise. Thankfully it worked since we couldn't get some specific people together as the group again to refilm. Adding dates to the bottom left corner of their dates throughout summer would get the story across. I ended up adding a sound effect to Noah's voiceover. When I extracted the audio, it sounded too strong and choppy in a sense. There were multiple options but I decided to stick with the "cave" sound effect. It gets the idea across when Dalilah reads the letter. At first, we wanted to add an overlay of Noah and Dalilahs quick kiss as if she was thinking of memories while reading. With the time frame we had, we ran into a couple issues. Our scenes with dialogue were too long and cutting them to fit wouldn't have made sense. That led me to mute the car scene because it still shows Noah handing Dalilah the letter. My only worry is that the video seems rushed. That's it for today and stay tuned for an update!
