Title Research: Watch the Titles Website & Art of the Title Website

Hey there bloggers, Happy New Year! It has been a while since I last shared with you guys. Today we started our research on the title websites we were provided to plan out our titles for this.

I began by looking up how to learn more about title sequences online and found a ton of things, but none of them seemed to have enough information to back up the amount of research that would be required. That is until I discovered "Art of the Title" and "Watch the Titles", two websites. We are looking at these websites because they're able to provide us quick access to hundreds of title sequences in which we can see and learn about the contrast, font, and size aspects along with the movement and placement of words as well as the length of time they are displayed.

Because of how well-organized these websites are, we can quickly discover the information we need to conduct useful research without wasting time looking through all of the various title sequences to find one that fits our genre and we have been doing additional research to gain a deeper understanding of how to do this all correctly. Researching can further motivate us to use our imagination and try out unique, intriguing components that we might come across when looking through title sequences. Having several interviews with professional title makers is an additional benefit of the website "Watch the Titles," which offers a different perspective than "Art of the Title." Since this information comes directly from a qualified and experienced professional who is familiar with this work, it may be fundamental and helpful. With the ability to work off the advice of experts, having access to this kind of research can help us to create a title sequence that is the closest imitation of ones found in commercial businesses. We can identify genre trends that live up to audience expectations. With no prior experience working on a project like this, research is necessary to make sure we correspond to film standards and that we are ready to create a unique and accurate title sequence to the best of our abilities!

Thank you all for coming back today and be ready for a new update!!
