Intro Blog

 My name is Alyssa Kathrin Jaidane. I was born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on July 9th, 2008. I live with my mother, father, and little brother. I go to Fort Lauderdale Highschool and I'm in 10th grade now. The last two years were a struggle for me due to COVID-19 since my grades had dropped and I dealt with a lot throughout being quarantined. Lately, I've been doing much better and focusing more on school. I've played multiple sports. For example, I played tennis, used to swim, boxed, did karate, and volleyball. I had to quit volleyball due to my anxiety attacks and medical issues but I hope to go back soon. This summer I'm trying to get back into club sports. Something I've been taking seriously lately is going to the gym. It's been hard but I've been trying to get back in shape and gain weight. Gaining weight has been a huge struggle for me after losing so much. It's been a long process but it's worth it to me. In my free time, I like hanging out with friends. I usually end up at the beach with them and spend most of the summer there. Lately, we've all been going to the park and just playing around. We usually play soccer or practice playing volleyball with some of the other girls there. Mostly after school but sometimes we go on the weekend. This summer I've made so many new friends. During quarantine, I met my best friend Sarah and she helped me more than I could've imagined. After meeting her, she introduced me to my friend group today. They are the only people I trust and have kept in my close circle for so long. Since we all went to the same middle school and became friends separately the group just clicked and it's been doing good for a while.
